Amtgard is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that is dedicated to the recreation of the Sword and Sorcery genre as well as educational aspect of medieval cultures. Amtgard focuses largely on a Medieval based combat system but also encompasses the arts and sciences of the time, in a friendly, social atmosphere.

Amtgard uses safe, foam-padded replicas of medieval weaponry. Anyone aged fourteen or older may compete in the martial aspect of the game but we welcome members of all ages. There's a place for everyone.

Amtgard is free to play, but there are certain documentary requirements. These documents can be obtained in our Library, or you can see our Prime Minister when you come out.

We promote fun and roleplaying and are always looking for new members to join us. So if you like to have fun and swing some foam, come see us and everyone will have a blast.

The Shire of Soul's Crossing is but one park of many. We meet every Sunday at 1 PM till around 5 PM at Audubon Park in Memphis, TN. Our park is open to everyone to come and watch or participate in the fighting if you are 14 or older and the arts and sciences are open to everyone. We have a place for everyone and everyone has there place within our park.

The martial aspect of Amtgard consists of Ditching, which is practice fighting, Battlegames, which are the core game of Amtgard, and Quests, which are special scenarios.

The Arts and Sicences or A&S is the other side of Amtgard. The A&S is broken into several parts. The first part is Active Consturction.
